HR Generalist - Shanghai
Job Summary
NOTE: This position is located in Shanghai, China. Please, local candidates only. There is no relocation package for this position. All interviews will take place in our Shanghai facility. Candidates who cannot be present for an in-person interview, at their expense, should not apply. We are only looking to hire candidates who are interested in full-time, salaried employment in Shanghai, China.
Human Resources Generalist/I.T.Recruiter is a unique combination of maintaining and implementing general Human Resource tasks and responsibilities and execute intense recruiting efforts.
Responsibilities
- Identify and maintain specifics on staffing.
- Maintain job-opening and closing requests.
- Write and maintain job descriptions.
- Provide support to hiring managers with quarterly comprehensive performance reviews across the enterprise.
- Locating, screening, and interviewing prospective employees.
- Provide hiring manager with specific guidelines related to interviewing and the selection process.
- Provided comprehensive reference checking and maintain detailed reference records.
- Responsible for external market sourcing by maintaining up to date advertisements via Internet, newspaper and other recruiting channels.
- Responsible for tracking needs assessment for faculty and staff.
- Responsible for job requisitions system.
- Responsible for estimating recruiting budget needs in terms of funding, dollars, and other resources.
- Responsible for applicant tracking.
- Responsible for termination and exit interviews.
- Maintain intense sales recruitment on prospective employees during peek and off-peak hiring seasons.
- Responsible for interviewing, selection, credential verification, offers and acceptance.
- Generate applicant response letters and all correspondence.
- Upon completion of interviewing, provide assistance and comments to hiring managers in candidate match and salary assessments.
- Coordinate pre-drug screening tests and other necessary pre-employment tests.
- Conduct new hire orientations.
- Conduct periodic salary surveys both internal and external, turnover analyses and provide written results to CEO and Practice Managers.
- Work with corporate attorneys to obtain visas, green cards, and other legal documentation for foreign employee placements.
- Handle and maintain confidential and non-routine information and personnel records.
- Performs comprehensive research to provide extensive reports and data.
- Creates, Maintains, and Implements processes and procedures throughout company and departments.
- Work independently and within a team on special, non-recurring, and on-going projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree 5+ years work experience in the HR/Recruiting field.
- Experience in designing and implementing extensive process and procedures in the HR/Recruiting field.
- Sales recruitment experience and an awareness of sales personality traits.
- Use of pre-employment testing and evaluations.
- Experience in judging person?s character and strong/weak points.
- Ability to ascertain information about people rapidly.
- Experience in handling highly confidential information with appropriate diligence.
- Experience in working with a private company.
- Ability to work long hours if necessary.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
