everse and CorVel Corporation Launch Healthcare Company’s New Enterprise Portal

LOS ANGELES, July 1, 2003 – Today, everse corporation (everse), a technology consulting, software development, and application outsourcing company, announced the launch of CorVel Corporation’s new enterprise portal. The new portal is the latest of several projects everse has delivered for CorVel, an independent provider of leading–edge healthcare services. Over the last three years, everse developed the first generation of CorVel’s enterprise portal and additional portals and Web–based applications for CorVel’s Healthcard and CareMC services.

In developing a new enterprise portal, CorVel’s challenge was to create a single channel through which to provide information and services to its numerous and diverse constituents, which include employers, claims professionals, healthcare professionals, third–party administrators, patients, brokers, and investors. To address this challenge, everse developed the new portal to serve as a central, organized knowledge network that helps CorVel establish and support relationships with its target audiences in a highly contextual and collaborative digital environment. By integrating information from a multitude of sources, the new portal also helps CorVel organize dispersed information and data, manage information overload, facilitate information sharing, and empower business decisions that fuel enterprise innovation, responsiveness, and efficiency.

The new CorVel solution is an excellent example of what can be achieved through everse’s Enterprise Portal Services. The new business era has created an enormous volume of digital information. As businesses generate more and more data, organizing that information and making it available to target audiences is a strategic imperative. Leveraging the expertise and experience of its business analysts, information architects, and interface developers, everse helps information–driven organizations extract, organize, and deliver the right information to the right people.

According to everse VP, Marketing Communications, Sangram Kakulavaram, “Over the last three years, everse and CorVel have developed some of the most effective portals and Web–based applications in the managed healthcare industry. The new enterprise portal extends CorVel’s mission of providing patient–friendly, automated, and timely managed healthcare administration.“
