everse Expands Partnerships with Microsoft, Sun, and IBM to Include Global Development Centers

LOS ANGELES, August 20, 2003 – Today, everse corporation (everse), a technology consulting, software development, and application outsourcing company, announced that it has expanded its partnerships with Microsoft Corporation, Sun Microsystems, and IBM Corporation to include its development centers in Bangalore, India, and Shanghai, China.

The expanded partnerships will enable everse’s Bangalore and Shanghai development centers to provide the company’s clients with the same enhanced capabilities that everse’s Los Angeles center of excellence provides through its existing Microsoft, Sun, and IBM partnerships. Leveraging the partnerships, everse passes on to its clients enhanced access to, pricing of, and support for Microsoft, Sun, and IBM technologies, tools, and skills. In addition, everse is able to develop and deploy Microsoft–, Sun–, and IBM–powered solutions for its clients with faster time to market, improved maintenance and support, and lower total cost of ownership.

Founded in 1975, Microsoft is the worldwide leader in software, services, and Internet technologies for personal and business computing. The company offers a wide range of products and services designed to empower people through great software – any time, any place, and on any device. Microsoft’s products and services include operating systems, desktop applications, business process applications and services, server platforms, mobile devices and software, Web–based services, and consumer hardware and software.

Since its inception in 1982, a singular vision – “The Network is The Computer“ – has propelled Sun Microsystems, Inc. to its position as a leading provider of industrial–strength hardware, software, and services that make the Net work. Sun’s products and services include network servers, data storage systems, engineering workstations, desktop appliances, microelectronics, software systems, service–delivery applications, cross–platform technologies, and consulting and support services.

With 80 years of leadership in helping businesses innovate, IBM is the world’s largest information technology company. Drawing on resources from across IBM and key Business Partners, IBM offers a wide range of services, solutions, and technologies that enable customers, large and small, to take full advantage of the new era of e–business. IBM’s products and services include hardware, software, IT services, financing and asset management services, IT research, and chip technologies and services.

The expansion of everse’s Microsoft, Sun, and IBM partnerships parallel the growth of the company’s facilities and operations around the globe. Extending the partnerships to everse’s Bangalore and Shanghai development centers supports the centers’ goals of driving the evolution and refinement of the company’s processes, increasing the company’s average revenue per employee, reducing the cost and time–to–market of the company’s high–quality solutions, targeting new consumer markets, and establishing a research and development infrastructure dedicated to product development.

According to everse CEO James Sung, “Extending our relationships with Microsoft, Sun, and IBM to our Bangalore and Shanghai development centers enhances both our partnerships and our global capabilities. We look forward to providing both our clients and our partners with new strategic and economic opportunities created by the expanded partnerships.“
