Broadcom Corporation Engages everse for Migration Project

LOS ANGELES, June 15, 2004 – Today, everse corporation, a technology consulting, software development, and application outsourcing company, announced that it has been engaged by Broadcom Corporation, a leading provider of highly integrated semiconductor solutions, to help migrate the business processes, applications, and data of a recently acquired company to the standards of Broadcom’s IT environment.

everse will leverage its Business Technology Consulting practice to set a course for the Broadcom project and its Enterprise Integration practice to execute the migration roadmap. everse will begin by conducting discovery sessions with business users to document the as–is and to–be states of the systems, gather requirements, define data types and workflows, and assess constraints. The everse team will also identify the users, configurations, technical architectures, and platforms involved in the migration.

With the information from its discovery sessions, the everse team will define data models, entity–relationship diagrams, work requests, and the size of the data to be migrated to set a course for the migration effort. This roadmap will include an assessment of the gaps between the source and target applications and their data, the functional specifications for the migration, the business rules, and the data mapping. In executing the roadmap, everse will migrate all of the application components, data, processes, and users to the standards of Broadcom’s IT environment.

According to everse CEO James Sung, “everse understands how important the consistency, continuity, and reliability of data and data systems are to the semiconductor industry. We look forward to helping Broadcom migrate its newly acquired systems as quickly and smoothly as possible.“
