Bayer China Engages everse to Deploy Workflow Framework
LOS ANGELES, February 6, 2006 – everse corporation, a technology consulting, software development, and application outsourcing company, announced that it has been engaged by Bayer China, a research–based, growth–oriented global enterprise with core competencies in the fields of health care, nutrition and high–tech materials, to deploy a business process workflow framework. This engagement follows a successful Technology Consulting practice engagement where everse worked with Bayer China to document over a dozen key business process workflows and helped identify a workflow management system to be used as a foundation for ongoing deployment. everse will leverage its Application Design and Development practice to build a framework which will support the continuing development and deployment of workflow processes focusing initially on key Human Resource activities such as leave and travel requests. Future workflow deployments will continue to address Human Resource and other resource intensive business processes.
The everse solution will build upon the workflow management system identified during the consulting engagement. This system will provide process mapping, role management, and user–interface development features; and will be augmented to address additional client specific requirements including import of personnel information, integration with corporate identity management systems, and integration with corporate standard messaging system. The result will be a system which leverages existing corporate assets and provides capability for the timely and flexible deployment of workflow processes.
everse will utilize our e–v–e–r–s–e methodology to: evaluate the workflow processes documented during the Technology Consulting practice engagement to insure a complete understanding of the target processes has been achieved; visualize a solution that will consider the multi–business unit requirements for the processes to be deployed and define an interface that will enable efficient interaction by system users; evolve a framework which can be used to deploy initial business process workflows and prove the overall approach; refine the approach to enable the efficient continuous deployment of additional workflows; satisfy by deploying the initial workflows to the production environment as a standardized process; and execute by reviewing the complete life cycle, identifying opportunities for improvement for subsequent iterations of business process definition to deployment.
According to Vernon Stinebaker, Managing Director of everse Greater China, “Business Process Management and workflow management systems can provide significant, positive impact to organizations performance. Bottom line performance can be improved through streamlined processes and increased efficiency and top line performance can be improved through better integration with external organizations and improved time–to–market. everse looks forward to building on our existing practices to help our clients recognize the significant benefits BPM can bring to their organizations.“
